_RES FLECTO_

_Res Flecto_ is a site-specific installation created for Bulgari by the young Milanese sculptor Filippo Salerni, an imposing sculpture in dialogue with the city. 

Through a reflective surface, the artist sinks the arches’ bases of the Arco della Pace in Milan, returning the monument’s reflected and inverted image to the city.

Conceived in its essence as a visual fusion between present and past, the work results from the artist's desire to investigate the relationship between contemporary art and ancient art, blurring their temporal boundaries by rewriting their poetics through his intervention.
